I read Imajica decades ago, this was the novel where I gave up reading Barker. I remember this novel having fantastic ideas and imagery, but the gender stuff and especially awkward race bit killed it for me. I made it through your 3 part podcast primarily because I had such a strong mixed feelings about this book and liked hearing your take.
