I couldn’t get into Transmetropolitan, even though I really enjoyed much of Hellblazer. I think it was all just a bit too weary and seems a mix of world-weariness and wish-fulfilment.
On the other hand, OTE (2nd Ed) is my go to game for running anything quickly. We recently used it for a Gamma World game.
This is a fair comment. I was hooked into Transmetropolitan by the first 12 issues in the Helix imprint so I stuck with it from there — though nothing in the later series is quite as good as those initial episodes
